Western Dubuque Schools operates a fleet of approximately 80 buses and vans throughout the largest school district by area in the state of Iowa. Transportation services are provided for over 5100 students to and from 16 schools, public and parochial.

The goal of the WDCSD transportation department is to provide the students of this district with a safe, secure and efficient transportation program. This goal can only be achieved through the combined efforts of school, students, and parents. Involvement from all parties is critical to the success of the program.

The privilege of receiving transportation services is dependent upon meeting behavioral expectations. Because privileges can be revoked, students knowledge of expectations is essential.
