The "dummies" series of books took the world by storm when they were first released. You've probably seen those bright yellow books with the black banner on the cover. I've purchased them to help me learn html programming and how to use specific software (like Photoshop). I like their down-to-earth approach and their ability to address exactly what I need.
I was very pleased to discover that "dummies" has a website (http://www.dummies.com/) that's free to use. For example, when you click on the Learn by Category tab you can view and learn about great things like Art, Education, Photography, Crafts, Languages, and much more. There are videos that help illustrate concepts, too.
If you would like to learn about something specific, give the "dummies" website a try and see if it helps you learn new skills like it does me. Enjoy!
