Tip Tuesday
Take Good Notes
When students struggle to understand or remember what happened in a class, it may mean that they need to take better notes.
Below are some note-taking strategies:
- Don't try to write down each word. Instead, use abbreviations and listen for what the teacher emphasizes.
- Edit notes as soon as possible after class to clarify points while they are fresh in your mind.
- Review your notes. Reviewing your notes regularly should get you ready for a test or the next class.
