H1N1 Vaccination Clinics
In partnership with the Dubuque Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), Western Dubuque Community School District is offering a community immunization clinic for parents, students, and staff members who have not received the vaccine earlier this season. Click here for more information.

Cascade Jr./Sr. High School Awarded Bronze Medal
Cascade Jr./Sr. High School recently made the U.S. News & World Report’s third annual America’s Best High School list for the third consecutive year. Bronze medals were awarded to 1,189 high schools including Cascade. The top 100 schools received gold medals and 461 schools earned silver medals. A total of 21,786 public high schools were reviewed.

Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten Registration Date
Pre-Kindergarten (PK) Registration for new students will be held on Thursday, February 11, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at all Western Dubuque elementary schools. Registration for new Kindergarten/Elementary students is also scheduled for this date. Please bring emergency contact information with you as well as your child's birth certificate and immunization verification.
Children must be 4 or 5 years of age on or before September 15, 2010, for PK registration and 5 years of age for Kindergarten registration. We currently offer a 3-day PK program as well as a 4-day PK program at each of our six elementary schools. Click here to view our school directory and contact information.
