Online Payment System                                          School Dining System

School Dining System – The Food & Nutrition Services Department has used School Dining System since 2004. “Family Accounts” are set and each student has an individual “Student ID Number” which is entered in to the computer. Parents are able to make payments (see online payments below), check their balance, view meal transactions and deposits. Go to: http://lunch.wdbqschools.org, you will need your School Dining ID and Password. To get this information, contact Lynne at (563)744-3885 ext. 6040. If you have a correct email address on file, you will receive low balance notifications electronically.

Online Payments – Parents have the ability to make payments to their account electronically, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week by credit or debit card. With this procedure, the account is credited immediately. Go to: http://w-dubuque.revtrak.net/tek9.asp

Student Lunch Accounts – Each student has a personal ID number used to make purchases. Students in grades 6-12 may use their personal meal card to enter his/her information in to the computer system. There is a $5.00 fee to replace the meal card; however, parents not able to pay this fee may request a waiver, which is determined on a case-by-case basis. Students in grades PK-5 will have their ID number entered by staff.

Negative Balance Accounts – When a family account balance goes below a positive balance of $5.00 per student, the computer will alert the cashier. The student will be given a friendly reminder that additional funds are needed. Students exceeding a negative balance of $5.00 per student, will be offered a “negative meal”, which will consist of a sandwich, vegetable and milk for lunch or toast and milk for breakfast. This type of meal is not charged to the account.

It is our policy to NEVER deny food to students – At times, the procedure of providing a “negative balance” meal due to unpaid account balances is necessary. The meal provided to students with a negative meal account meets the minimum dietary guidelines and is acceptable by Federal and State regulations.

IT IS THE PARENTS RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP ACCOUNT BALANCES PAID

The District’s Negative Balance Policy is printed on the back of your information letter, available on our website or by calling the Food & Nutrition office.

If you need help paying for school meals, please contact Sherry Kaiser at (563)744-3885 ext. 6041
