Gary McAndrew Recognized for 6 Years of Service

Board of Education Service Recognition

At the September 8th Board Meeting, the Board accepted Gary McAndrew’s resignation due to him moving outside of his director district. Superintendent Jeff Corkery presented Gary with a plaque in recognition of his six years of service. We are grateful for Gary’s dedicated service to the students, parents, staff and residents of Western Dubuque Community School District. His leadership, service and professionalism will always be remembered.

An Organizational Meeting was held after the Regular Meeting where John Lembezeder was appointed as Gary’s replacement.  Mark Knuth was then elected Board President and Chad Vaske was elected Board Vice-President.
