As noted on the Board approved 2016-17 District calendar, there is no school on Friday, October 7. 
CHS & WDHS Conferences: October 18
Secondary (CHS & WDHS) Mid-Term Parent-Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, October 18, 3:50-8:30 p.m. 
Elementary, CJHS & DMIS Conferences Date CHANGE
Due to the election being on November 8, the Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences have been changed to November 7 & 10, 3:30-7:00 p.m.; and CJHS & DMIS Parent-Teacher Conferences are November 7 & 10, 4:00-7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, August 30, 3300 ears of corn were shucked by Western Dubuque Community School District students in an effort to introduce locally grown produce to the school lunch program.
